The Greenteams Environmental Technology Startup announced their success in closing the series A series of funding led by Oriza Greenwillow Technology Fund. With this funding, Greenteams is ready to accelerate the expansion and development of artificial intelligence -based environmental monitoring technology to support the Net Zero Emission 2060 Indonesia target.

Greenteams are widely known through continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) technology and Air Quality Monitoring Systems (AQMS), which have been applied in more than 30 provinces in Indonesia. This solution supports the needs of industry and government for accurate real-time data for regulatory reporting and decarbonization strategies.

Greenteams CEO Wilson B. Sutarko stated, the funding not only expanded the scale of business, but also strengthened the impact on national environmental governance.

“Greenteams is not just a hardware provider. We are here to answer the needs that continue to increase from the industry and the government of credible environmental data and can be directly utilized for decision making,” he explained as quoted from press broadcast, Tuesday (1/7).

“This funding allows us to expand the reach throughout Indonesia, strengthen the team, and increase the impact in various sectors. We are grateful for the trust of partners in the private and public sectors, and invites investors to join in joining the continued round of this series,” he added.

Throughout 2024, Greenteams recorded annual revenue growth of up to 98%, driven by tightening environmental regulation and global impulse to the principle of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance). In addition, Greenteams also operates the first gas and air calibration laboratory in Indonesia (SNI ISO/IEC 17025) and pocketed ISO 9001 certification for quality management.

With the addition of capital, Greenteams will focus the development on four strategic areas, namely the expansion of the emission and air monitoring system in the energy, manufacturing, and urban areas. Then the development of AI -based predictive tools for forecasting and emission analysis.

Then the integration of environmental data platforms for regulations and the ESG market. Finally, regional expansion in Southeast Asia. The continued round of series A which is currently opened is expected to attract more strategic partners to accelerate the mission of Greenteams in shaping a cleaner and more transparent environment based on technology.
