This dividend plan was mentioned by Gelex Group in the documents prepared for the annual meeting in 2025, scheduled to take place on April 1. Last year, this company paid an interim cash dividend to shareholders at a rate of 8%. Thus, the total dividend Gelex will pay for 2025 is 33%, the highest ever.

In addition to paying dividends in shares and cash, the company plans to grant additional shares to shareholders at a rate of 20%. After completing the reward distributions, Gelex’s charter capital will increase by 45%, from 9.023 trillion VND to 13.084 trillion VND.

Gelex also plans to present shareholders with a consolidated revenue target for this year of 44.712 trillion VND, an increase of 13.2% compared to 2025. They aim for a pre-tax profit decrease of nearly 22%, down to 3.615 trillion VND. The group’s leadership stated that the profit plan was built cautiously due to short-term pressure from interest expenses and operating new projects in the early stages when capacity has not yet reached its maximum.

Last year, Gelex recorded a consolidated net revenue of 39.513 trillion VND and a pre-tax profit of 4.621 trillion VND, exceeding the annual plan by 5.1% and 52%, respectively.

At this year’s meeting, the group also plans to present shareholders with the proposal to relocate the headquarters to the building at 10 Tran Nguyen Han and 27-29 Ly Thai To Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

The project is set to operate from February 2026, with Gelex as the investor. Located on a 1-hectare land, 200 meters from Hoan Kiem Lake, the project is a complex that includes office rentals, a commercial area, and a 6-star hotel. This building will also house the headquarters of Eximbank, a bank in which Gelex holds 10% of the capital.
